Commemorative POW*MIA bracelet dedicated to U.S. Army First Lieutenant (1LT) and Nurse Sharon Ann Lane. The bracelet bears engraved inscriptions specifying 1LT Lane's military rank, name, branch of service, casualty date, theater of military operations, home state of record, & Vietnam Veterans Memorial (VVM) Wall location information which read, "1LT SHARON A. LANE / USA 6-8-69 VIETNAM / OH / 23W 112". The artifact was left at Panel W23 of The Wall by an anonymous donor between July - August 1992.

THE OBJECT CONSISTS OF A FLAT STRIP OF RECTANGULARLY SHAPED, BLACK COLORED ALUMINUM [?] METAL WITH ROUNDED ENDS BENT INTO A ROUGHLY CIRCULAR SHAPE TO FORM A BRACELET. AN ENGRAVED INSCRIPTION AT THE EXTERIOR, OBVERSE OBJECT SURFACE OF THE BRACELET BEARS 1LT LANE'S MILITARY RANK, NAME, BRANCH OF SERVICE, CASUALTY DATE, & THEATER OF MILITARY OPERATIONS, "1LT SHARON A. LANE / USA 6-8-69 VIETNAM", WHILE SECONDARY INSCRIPTIONS ENGRAVED UPON THE EXTERIOR, REVERSE OBJECT SURFACE OF THE BRACELET BEAR THE TWO (2) LETTER ABBREVIATION FOR 1LT LANE'S HOME STATE OF RECORD, "OH", AS WELL AS HER VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL (VVM) WALL LOCATION INFORMATION, "23W 112".
