ITEM SUMMARY

Three (3) Vietnam Veterans Memorial (VVM) name rubbings for U.S. Marine Corps Corporal (Cpl) Stephen Peter Miller, U.S. Air Force Major (Maj) William Edward Cordero, & U.S. Army Second Lieutenant (2LT) George Gutierrez, Jr., respectively, upon VVM Wall rubbing sheets. The artifacts were left at Panel 2E of The Wall by an anonymous donor between May - June 2007.

THREE (3) VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL (VVM) NAME RUBBINGS FOR U.S. MARINE CORPS CORPORAL (CPL) STEPHEN PETER MILLER, U.S. AIR FORCE MAJOR (MAJ) WILLIAM EDWARD CORDERO, & U.S. ARMY SECOND LIEUTENANT (2LT) GEORGE GUTIERREZ, JR, RESPECTIVELY. EACH OF THE THREE (3) VVM NAME RUBBINGS CONSISTS OF A RUBBED IMPRESSION OF ONE (1) OF THE THREE (3) ABOVE REFERENCED VVM WALL HONOREE NAMES EXECUTED IN GRAPHITE PENCIL AND BLOCK SCRIPT UPON THE CENTER OF THE OBVERSE OBJECT SURFACE OF A VVM WALL RUBBING SHEET. EACH OF THE WALL RUBBING SHEETS CONSISTS OF A RECTANGULARLY SHAPED SHEET OF WHITE, UNLINED PAPER WITH A RECTANGULARLY SHAPED, BLACK PRINTED FIELD ALONG THE UPPER ONE-THIRD (1/3) OF THE OBVERSE OBJECT SURFACE BEARING THE INSCRIPTION, "VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL" PRINTED IN WHITE INK AND BLOCK SCRIPT. AT THE UPPER, PROPER RIGHT-HAND CORNER OF THE REVERSE OBJECT SURFACES, THE VVM WALL RUBBING SHEETS BEAR A ONE (1) PARAGRAPH SET OF INSTRUCTIONS FOR, "LOCATING A NAME" PRINTED IN BLACK INK AND BLOCK SCRIPT, WHILE THE MEMORIAL INFORMATION, "VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL / WASHINGTON, D.C. / NATIONAL PARK SERVICE / U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR" IS PRINTED IN BLACK INK AND BLOCK SCRIPT AT THE LOWER, PROPER RIGHT-HAND CORNER OF THE REVERSE OBJECT SURFACES. AT THE CENTER, PROPER LEFT-HAND EDGE OF THE REVERSE OBJECT SURFACES, TWO (2) FIELDS ARE PRE-PRINTED IN BLACK INK AND BLOCK SCRIPT FOR, "PANEL #______" AND "LINE #______", RESPECTIVELY, AND ARE COMPLETED BY-HAND IN GRAPHITE PENCIL AND BLOCK SCRIPT/ARABIC NUMERALS UPON THE 2LT GUTIERREZ, JR. SHEET WITH THE VVM WALL LOCATION INFORMATION, "2E" & "71", RESPECTIVELY.
