VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL (VVM) NAME RUBBING FOR U.S. ARMY FIRST LIEUTENANT (1LT) JON WALTER LAYTON III. THE OBJECT CONSISTS OF A RUBBED IMPRESSION OF THE VVM WALL HONOREE NAME, "JON W LAYTON" EXECUTED IN GRAPHITE PENCIL AND BLOCK SCRIPT UPON THE UPPER EDGE OF THE OBVERSE OBJECT SURFACE OF A RECTANGULARLY SHAPED SHEET OF WHITE, LINED NOTEBOOK PAPER. ALONG THE LOWER, PROPER RIGHT-HAND CORNER OF THE REVERSE OBJECT SURFACE THE PHRASE, "THANK YOU" IS HANDWRITTEN IN GRAPHITE PENCIL AND VERTICALLY-ORIENTED BLOCK SCRIPT.
