THE WALL OF FACES

My name is Alan lee whitten (Alan Lee Collins) I am writing this on the 15th day of December 2023. Everyone from my mom to my grandfather to my aunt Susie and uncle Bobby always referred to you as uncle Floyd and also how i have referred you. Thank you for your incredible service and for what you did for our country and for those you helped throughout all of it you are loved by many to this day including myself. I know you're watching over us all and guiding us each day. You are an inspiration and were a brave brave soul. SP5 medic, uncle Floyd we salute you.

Floyd was one of the kindest people I have ever known. His nick name was "Peachy" which was a term of endearment in Georgia. His aunt lived near us in Redan and when Floyd visited his aunt we always played together. I think of him often. We traced his name from the Vietnam Memorial Wall. "He gave all" for us.

I hope your photo is put here because this wall of faces needs yours. Thank you for your service as a Medical NCO. Thanks for the lives you saved. Today is the last day of 2017, Happy New Year, and it is the 7th Day of Christmas. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
