Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....

I remember the morning like it was yesterday. You and I were to sweep the road for mines. You went left and I went right and then I heard the explosion. My heart sank and we lost a great soldier and friend. I think of you often and rest in peace Arlie.

Dear Sp4 Arlie Collins,
Thank you for your service as a Combat Engineer. Today is the last day of 2017, Happy New Year, and it is the 7th Day of Christmas. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Dear Uncle Arlie Ray, just know you was missed by all your family especially Grandma. She was never the same after you was gone. She sat quietly and thought to her self. I know she was wondering if you was still out there somewhere. But I'm sure you and Grandma and My Daddy have had a awesome family reunion with the rest of the family. Dear SP4 Arlie Ray Collins, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
