Thank You

Thank you so much for serving in our military. My class and I have learned about you and we are going to Washington D.C. in April and we will find your name and do an etching of your name.

THANK YOU

Dear Sp4 Joel Coleman,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. December is almost gone, along with all the preparations. It is the 4th Day of Christmas. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Gone but not forgotten

Mr. Coleman,

It has truly been a joy to get to know your daughter, Kelly, and her family in the last 20 years. While we will always wish our lost heroes were here with us today, I am so grateful for the opportunity to have met your family who I may not have met otherwise. I look forward to honoring your sacrifice at the Wall next summer.

Respectfully,
Stephanie

Remembering an American Hero

Dear SP4 Joel Daniel Coleman, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say 'thank you'; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
