Good Friend

Greg and I were best friends in high school, did ROTC together and messed around a lot. He spent time with me at MSU before he returned to Nam. A gentle giant, loving, caring, smart. My heart broke at his funeral....I say hi everything I visit the wall. His death was a loss to humanity.

I remember

You sat next to me in bookkeeping. I always thought you were a very nice person. Even then you were dedicated to your country. Thank you for your service. I honor you on Memorial Day 2021

Birthday

Your life was taken the day mine was given. I know you lived your life with courage and honor because you served your country. I only hope that I have lived a life worthy of the sacrifice you made for our country. Thank you for your service.

With respect

Thank You

Dear Lcpl Gregory Coin,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. December is here, along with all the preparations. It is Christmas. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear LCPL Gregory Cleveland Coin, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
