Thank you Sgt. Coen

On this Memorial Day, I’d like to say ‘Thank you for your service & ultimate sacrifice’. Too many people today take our freedoms & democracy for granted but it’s heroes like you that we owe so much to. I’ve worn and had your MIA bracelet for near 55 years. I will donate it this year to the Palm Springs Air Museum so others can see your name and honor your sacrifice. May God bless you and your family.

POW/MIA BRACELET DISPLAY - PALM SPRINGS AIR MUSEUM

I am the Curator of the POW/MIA Bracelet Display in the Vietnam Hangar of the Palm Springs Air Museum in Palm Springs, California where we now have over two thousand bracelets honoring POWs, MIAs and KIAs and would be honored to include your bracelet in our Display should you have one. If you no longer have your bracelet or wish to keep yours or are an immediate family member (spouse, fiancé, sibling, child, grandchild, cousin, niece, nephew, or close friend) I can order one for the Display in your name with funds donated by our Museum visitors.

One of my adopted Kham Duc brothers

There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you, my brother Danny Widner and all the other heroes we lost that Mother's Day 1968. In my heart forever. Rest in Peace.

55 Years ago, Harry Bob Coen has been listed as missing in SVN. I’ve work his POW bracelet for years and will continue until the day comes when his family will be able to close his chapter of life. Wherever you are Bob, know that I will not forget you, and wish God is part of your soul.

WE WILL ALWAYS MISS YOU

Thank you Bobby for being the person you were, for taking your brothers' (George) place in the Vietnam War. I wish that you would have had many more years to spend with us. You are thought of and talked about in the family circle many times a year. We will never forget how brave you were, we miss you and love you. See you on the other side someday.
