Dear Sgt Gary Cochran,
Thank you for your service as a Ranger Qualified Infantryman. December is here, along with all the preparations. It is almost Christmas. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

You will always be my best friend and first love. Your Mom was at the birth of my first-born. Each Christmas memories flood back to the last hilarious one we spent together with your folks. When I left your house I didn't look back because of the tears in my eyes. You told me if I cried you would be mad. It crushed me when your Mom told me you said "Mom, she didn't look back."

I remember our early days together hunting groundhogs, sleigh riding,swimming and trips to the local flea market. I looked on the Wall at the Sturgis Bike Rally but could not find your name but now I will be able to do. You were a great friend one I've never forgotten.
