Remembered
Thank you Ssgt Anderson from a grateful trainee at Ft Gordon GA in 1970. I will always remember our conversations about your prior service in Vietnam and comparing my 1968 Dodge Charger with your Dodge Charger. Every time I visit the Vietnam Wall, I stop to share time with you. RIP brave soldier.

do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never truly die....
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.
