do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

You are not forgotten

James, I will always remember your calm nature and the time we spent together with the 82nd Airborne Div. When your orders came for Viet Nam you left a hole. When you died, I had a sadness that till this day I still feel. You are greatly missed brother. Our bond was special because you were from Depew and I was from Grand Island.
But most of all I remember the love and concern you always had for your mother but especially your little sister.
Your earthly battle was over awhile ago, and I believe you are now in the hands of our loving Savior.

THANK YOU

Dear Sgt James Cobb,
Thank you for your service as a Huey, UH-1 Helicopter Repairer. December is here, along with all the preparations. It is almost Christmas. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
