Thank You
Dear LtCdmr William Coakley,
Thank you for your service as an Unrestricted Line Officer (Pilot) on the U.S.S. CONSTELLATION. I am glad you were identified in 1988. Welcome Home.
December is here, along with all the preparations. It is almost Christmas. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

A devoted pilot, a fine man, brilliant and funny
Bill was a dear friend in the early 1960s, during his year at Harvard and later during the time he served at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland.
This is so many years later, but I remember him fondly and send my condolences to his family and friends.
