My cousin
Mark was my favorite cousin We used to watch movies from his backyard on Monkhouse Dr.,off Greenwood Rd at the . The LEO drive-in movie.He went to Fair Park and I went to Woodlawn.Spent some time with him,after his first tour in Vietnam.He signed up for another tour to get enough money to homestead (raise cattle) in Alaska. he wanted me to go to Alaska with him.Sadly,this was not to be.He was the 50 cal.gunner on one of our river patrol boats.the report that Igot was that they were patrolling the rive one night,without lights and collied with another patrol boat and Mark drowned.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear GMG3 Marcus Eugene Cline, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

The Tears That Never End
After all these years I still can't think of you without crying. I know it is not what you would want, but I feel such a loss I can't hold back the tears. I think some it is knowing that you didn't have a good home life. You lost your mother when you were a little boy and you lost our older brother William when we were both little boys. Daddy did the best he could, but he couldn't make things right for some reason. You are all together now and I pray to our Heavenly Father that you are at peace. I also pray that I will see you, William, and Daddy again. I love and miss you all.
