honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from your cousin Geri are touching and reflect the anguish experienced by so many who lost loved ones in this war. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever....

Thank You
Dear Cpl Daniel Clevenger,
Thank you for your service as a Radio Telegraph Operator. Your 71st birthday just passed. Happy Birthday. December is here, along with all the preparations. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Dear Danny
You were my cousin, my dear friend, and a pal to Judy & me. Here I am now at 66 and still remember the three of us dancing in your folks' basement to "The Lion sleeps Tonight" while our parents talked upstairs. I still remember being so glad to get letters from you from Nam while I was in college. I remember that horrible phone call from my dad telling me you had been taken. And your funeral... I was only 20; you were only 21. I have mourned the loss of what God had planned for you my whole life. The pain has lessened but has never disappeared--guess that's how the first major loss is in life. My joy, though, is in knowing that we will meet again someday! Love you always, Geri
