I served with David in Quang Tri, Con Thien in Amtracs. I remember him as a big guy with a big heart, always going the extra mile to keep the tracks up and running. It was a personal thing with him. Best Mechanic in Viet Nam
Dave was the best Amtrac Mechanic in the 26th Marines, I remember him repairing "tracs" with little or no new parts. His sense of humor and warm personality is what I remember most of him. I was with him from November 1965 till his death.
