I, too, wore a bracelet with the name of Maj. Charles Claxton. I still have it and it is a very dear to me.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from those who wore your MIA bracelet are moving. May you rest in eternal peace.

My wife and I obtained 2 bracelets, one for each of us shortly after we were married in 1971. Each year we proudly put them on our Christmas Tree. Thank you for your service.

My wife, Debbie, passed away recently. While going through her personal effects, I came upon her Major Claxton bracelet she wore in the 70's before we met. It always meant a lot to her.

I too, like so many others wore a braclet in honor and memory of Major Claxton. Major Claxton and many other soldiers paid the ultimate sacrifice to keep us safe and to help a foreign country to remain free. Let us not forget those soldiers who paid the price so that others could live. Thank you, Major Claxton and to his family I am honored to continue wearing his bracelet to remind others that freedom isn't free and Major Claxton truly was a "HERO". "God Bless"
