Friend & squad leader
I was with him the night he was killed. The first night of the 1968 Tet Offensive. In December of 67 he loaned me all the cash, actually MPC's (Military Payment Certificates)he had so I could go to to Sidney, Australia on R&R. I have visited his gravesite near Mount Airy Maryland and have talked to his family members. He was simply a good, honest, and dedicated soldier.
