THE WALL OF FACES

James and I along with his brother John were in the same confirmation class in New Orleans. I moved away when I was 12 and never saw him again. But I do remember the fun that we had as kids with "long leashes" growing up near City Park, the Carrollton Theatre and living in Mid City. Our confirmation class gave us the name of "The Three Wise Men" and it wasn't because we were great at catechism! When I got older I tried to contact him only to find out that he was KIA in Vietnam. Rest in peace James, sorry we never got to see each other again.

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.

Dear PFC James Ciruti,
Thank you for your service as an Infantry Direct Fire Crewman. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
