THE WALL OF FACES

PFC Richard Chubb is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, Pennsylvania.

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

We lived in the same neighborhood. My family and I lived at 57th and Kingsessing. I was honored to be an altar boy serving at your funeral mass at MBS. It was very sad and I never forgot that day. I know that someday we’ll meet my brother in arms. James M. Betancourt USAF, Lt Col (Ret)

Dear PFC Richard Chubb,
Thank you for your service as a Combat Engineer. . Happy Thanksgiving. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Dear Richard C Chubb,

You never met me but you are the nephew of my grandmothe, making me a cousin of yours. I want to thank you for your service to our country. I want you to know that you are not forgotten in our family. I recently visited the Vietnam war memorial to get a rubbing of your name. I will frame it so your name Will always be remembered in our family.
