Bronze Star Medal Award

Corporal David James Amheiser was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V) and Oak Leaf Cluster, for his exemplary gallantry under fire. He served as an Infantryman (Airborne/Pathfinder Qualified) and was assigned to A CO, 1ST BN, 8TH CAVALRY, 1ST CAV DIV.
