Dear LTJG David Christian,
Thank you for your service as an Unrestricted Line Officer (Pilot) on the U.S.S MIDWAY. I am glad you were found in 1987. Welcome Home. Happy Thanksgiving. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

My big brother and my hero.

My sister Dottie Troutman has had David's bracelet for almost 30 years. She has always felt connected to him. It's almost like she knows him personally. I've seen her cry many tears for him. She just a couple days ago got to see the memorial wall and was able to locate David's name. She is relieved to know his remains made it home.
