In Remembrance
I was so saddened to hear of Ron's death so many years ago. I still think of him and the time we shared in Smithtown Central.

On this day as on many days...
I remember my cousin Ronnie - the beloved firstborn of my mother's family's generation. He was handsome, talented and personable. I remember being a little girl Christmas Eve - the biggest holiday of our family. The year before Ronnie was with us dancing round the Christmas tree. Now as I went to bed, my mother brought the news that Ronnie had been killed. It scared our family for years. This Memorial Day I remember all the family's who were similarly affected when their son (or daughter) made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Thanks
Dear Sgt Ronald Christen,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Happy Thanksgiving. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
