A Friend

Brad was a native of western NY. We worked together at McDonald’s. We’d gather at my house after closing for waffles. Great guy with a great sense of humor!

One of the best

Brad was one of my best friends. We played street sports, joined the Boy Scouts, played football on the school teams, worked at McDonalds, repaired his '62 Chevy Impala. He never backed down from any challenge! I still miss him.

Remembering You

Brad, my friend, I remember asking you not to go, to find a way out of serving. And your response to me was that you owed it to all the guys already there and to all the citizens at home, to serve your country.
I cried like a baby when I heard the news.
I carried your name in pride at the March against the War in Washington, and cried again when I placed your name in the coffins we burned in protest. I was protesting the loss of you and all the others who lost their lives in that horrendous war. I was honored to represent you and all the others who served with you.
I cried at the Vietnam War Memorial when I traced my finger slowly over your name.
You will be FOREVER missed. I miss you my friend.

THANK YOU

Dear Sp4 Brad Chriss,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Happy Thanksgiving. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
