Tom Chiminello
"Chiminooch" was a good friend and fellow member of my flight school class, 66-14B4 during 1966. He took a while to get to Viet Nam, and got there almost as I was leaving in October, 1967. We talked on the phone at Long Binh, and then I found out he had bought it by the time I returned to Fort Wolters, TX for flight instructor duties. He was a dear person, with puppy-dog eyes and a good buddy to be around. There have been quite a few times when I have mourned him over the years. A MedEvac pilot's life is most dangerous; especially with night-time rescues under hostile fire....
