A great Marine and squad member

When I think of my time in Vietnam I think of you. I often get out my pictures of us that we took at the O'Brian bridge. We look so young. You were killed many years ago but you still live in my memories. The Marines who carried you out did not know you so I told them who you were so they would know who it was they were bringing home. I will never forget trying to get a guy from New Jersey to pronounce "oil" so it didn't sound like "earl". It was a lost cause. We could always count on you before, during and after battle. You are missed by more than you know. Semper Fi
