A good soldier, a good man
Austin served in the 1st 50th Inf. 173d Airborne. He wasn't supposed to go out that morning but he went out of his own accord to be with and support his friends. The men of 1st plt. A Co. 1st 50th haven't forgotten him and never will.

Thank You
Dear Fallen Soldier
I am a senior from Gridley High School located in Gridley Illinois. Our class is making remembrances for the virtual wall for many of the soldiers that died in the Vietnam War. You and many other soldiers paid the supreme sacrifice for your family, friends, and your country. It is a privilege to live the United States Your service, loyalty, and love for this country is a priceless gift to this country. Sincerely
Brian Vercler
