I still miss you so much. You were my best friend as we were growing up on our farm in Itasca, Tx. not just my brother. I know you were a good man and hope to see you in heaven. I remember all the days that we picked cotton and hoed weeds out of the cotton. I realize God had other plans for you then staying here and being my little brother. I love you. Your sister Lindy

I miss you and often times I remember the good memories we had running in freshly plowed farm dirt playing hide and seek. I have fond memories of you living with us before you went away to be brave. I will never know why you chose this path, but I know it was part of God's plan. I miss you and love you.

Dear Sgt Buddy Channon,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
