THE WALL OF FACES

Didn't know David personally. Did serve in the same unit (A Troop, 2/1 Cavalry) the Blackhawks. Knew Sgt. Rivera, who was Dave's Tank Commander. Sgt. Rivera was KIA the same time as Dave, in the same fire fight. Remember grabbing my weapon, bandoliers of ammo, some hand grenades, and running toward our amoured personnel carrier. All I knew was that my Brothers were locked in a life and death situation. Everybody didn't make it.
God bless David Chaney. God bless his warrrior spirit. Dave you live in us. We will never forget you. Our word is our Bond. Our Bond is our life. Before we break our word, we will surrender our life.
Save us a place to rest up there with you Dave. Save us a place to hang our Ruck Sacks.
