My beloved brother.

I was born in October and Beeb was born the next year on August 13th. We were very close and to this day, December 18th, 2023, I cannot read his letters without sobbing. The grieving for a loved one never leaves you even though you have the fondest of memories which cause you to smile at precious memories. Life goes on but our family still feel this loss. He loved following in our Dad's footsteps and becoming a fireman. He was a terrific slow dancer and had all the girls asking me to get him to dance with them. Terrific guy! I look forward to reuniting with him one day in our heavenly forever home.

honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from Dorothy are touching and reflect the anguish experienced by so many who lost loved ones in this war. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever…..

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Thomas Chambers,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

My best friend

We were the best of friends at Kingsbury High School but we went separate ways after graduation. I was lucky enough to join the U.S. Army in 1961 and I was shipped to Germany and never had to go through what you did. You were the bravest friend I had and we shared many good times. I hope to see you again and shake your hand one of these days. I salute you, a true American hero.
