Birthday

Hello Dad...sorry, I'm a day late, but know that you were remembered on your Birthday...and EVERY day. All of us 'boys' had a toast to you from our respective homes to honor your memory yesterday. Happy Birthday, Dad. God Bless and hello to Mom and Brother Steve.

Memorial Day, May 25, 2020

Dear MSGT Joseph Anthony Cestaric, sir.

This year, as every year, our American Flag looks majestic as it snaps to attention in the breeze, as if to return the salute of all those who have served and who are serving. Two Red, White, and Blue Memorial Day wreats, one to the left and one to the right, remain there during this very special Memorial Day holiday.

Remembering you, those you served with who didn't make it home from the Vietnam War, and all who died defending this country.

With respect, sir.

Not my favorite date!!

So, I did the math and it's hard to believe it has been 54 years since that very terrible day...but it has! A lot has happened in these many years, but you have not been forgotten. I thank you again for your sacrifice and ALL that you did for all of us. I don't have many regrets in life, but I do regret that some of the wonderful people that have come into my life, never got to meet and know you as I did. "Hello" to Mom and Brother Steve!

Thank you for your SACRAFICE!

Well, the Milpitas home is no longer part of the Cestaric domain, but the memories and love, shared there by all, is with us forever. I wore the "Hat" out yesterday and couldn't wait to describe the folks on the bill. I only wear it on special occasions and yesterday was one!!! And...HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY, Dad. You are missed every day.

Never Forgotten

Dad,
Another year has come and gone and it was a good year for all of us in WV. I just wanted to say "Hi" and let you know that I/we remembered you this Memorial Day. I wore the hat that Mark got me at Christmas, with pride. Thanks again for your sacrifice and hello to Mom and Steve!
