Willie, We served together in 3/2 ACR in America. I recall your kindness and generosity inviting my young wife and I to dinner with your family. After we both rotated out I saw your name come through on the casualty list while OD @ the 6th Army Escort Unit at OAB. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to pull strings to take you home. I’m an old man now but I have never forgotten you. I’m sorry you were denied the opportunity to live and grow old too. You served with honor. You did your duty & you did it well.
