THE WALL OF FACES

R G , I remember well that hot, humid Oklahoma summer day they had your funeral in Heavener. I had a flood of memories hit me at once. I thought of the years you helped me with my livestock projects in FFA. You were easy to talk to. I remember you trying to join the Army the year before, but was turned down because of a childhood illness.The next year they drafted you ,sent you to Ft. Lenoardwood, Mo. then to Vietnam. R G I missed you buddy, and still do after all these years. I went to Vietnam 3 years latter and you were on my mind a lot. Rest in the arms of Jesus my friend you earned it.

R G is buried at Hodgen Cemetery, Heavener,OK.

Always Remembered

You will be forever remembered by those who served in Vietnam and those who take the eternal "WALL" remembrance.

R G, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you for protecting the freedoms we have today.
