Remembering An American Hero

Dear 1LT Raymond M Caswell, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Always Remembered

I served as an interrogator under LT Caswell. Others in our team were Sgt Kringle and Steward(don'remember his last name). We spent some time on search and deystroy missions together. He was always a soldier and lived up to The Big Red One's motto " No Misssion too difficult, No sacrifice too great, Duty first". My condolences to all that knew and loved him. Tony Russo

I miss you!

Dear Ray,
On this and every Memorial Day since January 25, 1968, I think of you and all the high school buddies that gave their lives for freedom. I still remember it was you who taught me to drive, to pickup girls, to make a living the honest way, to love your parents even if they adopted you, to defend what you believe in but most importantly what freedom really means. I miss you. Klaus Driessen ([email protected])
