Gracious Man

I served with Jim as original members of Co. C., 518th Military Police Bn., Fort Hood TX. I will always remember Jim as a kind, gracious man. I also was part of the Company's contingent who attended his funeral...a very sad day.

My Uncle I have Never Met

I've never met my Uncle James but I do know from all the family stories my dad has told me he was a great man. It was such a tragedy for my family to know he was never coming home. He had a daughter (Jamie) that he never got to meet but she has such a love for him it is truly inspiring. And my Aunt Shirley that never got to see her husband again never stopped loving him from day one til the day she joined him in Heaven. Its a unique story how 2 brother (my dad and Uncle James) married 2 sister (my mom and Aunt Shirley) Some people only dream about the love that my Aunt Shirley and Jamie have for their husband and Dad. Til one day I will get to meet this courageous man that fought for our country that I proudly get to call my Uncle James!
