Richard, 'Chico', 'Son of Freddie' : without a doubt you're one of a kind. And so important to me are the memories: growing up together; cruising in your 1955 Pontiac with the gang--PC, Happy, LeRoy, Duffy and Morrow. And more-- 1965,1966-- your humor, such as running around the 'Electric Circus' imitating Groucho Marx, or pulling you car up next to 'older' people with all of us raggedy teenagers in the car and cranking up the volume of a classical music or opera station just to catch the impression on those middle aged faces. And who can forget Floyd's Department Stores and Spencer Shoes? And much more which I will later add when time permits.

The draft (life) scattered us. You, eventually to the 4th Division and Vietnam. But the connection after all these years never fades.
