My Father, a Hero!
I was born Sean Marie Cash in 1965 and put up for adoption. Although I never met my father, God reunited me with my mom and grandmother, mother of Sgt. David Cash. I hold the letters he wrote during his last days in Vietnam. What a treasure of information. My father was a true hero!

THANKS
Dear Sgt David Cash,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I served with David ...
I served with David Cash in Germany before we were sent to the 101st Airborne Division. We served in the 509th Airborne in Mainz Gonzemhein. We were also in a Precision Drill and long distance marching team called The Blackhawks. We marched in the annual Neighmegan,Holland 100 mile march. I have pictures of David when we were in Europe before we were sent to Viet-Nam. He was a very nice man and I think of him often.
