We Will Remember

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

A DeMolay brother who exemplified dedication and selfless sacrifice.

I never knew Dennis Casey, but I was a member of the same DeMolay chapter that he was (that was named in his honor) and remember being struck by the sacrifice he made for his fellow citizens by willingly sacrificing his future hopes and dreams for them at such a young age. His black and white photo seemed to speak to me to say that we had a duty to something bigger than ourselves. I served 8 years as a Marine including the Gulf War. Dennis L. Casey had an impact on me even in death. May he rest in peace. Semper Fi!
