Dear Sgt Tyrone Carson,
Thank you for your service as a Special Forces Qualified Infantry Operations & Intelligence Specialist. Yesterday we celebrated Columbus Day, and we remember those of you who served. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

SGT Tyrone B. Carson was a Special Forces-qualified Infantry Operations and Intelligence Specialist serving with Detachment A-414 (Moc Hoa), D Company, 5th Special Forces Group, U.S. Army Support Command Vietnam, MACV. On May 30, 1965, SGT Carson died in Kien Tuong Province, RVN, where it was reported he took his own life. He was 24 years-old. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org]

Mr. Carson, the NBC news did a story on keep sakes left at the wall tonight. During the shoot, they zoomed in on your name and I googled you. So, I felt it was my duty to at least leave you a message. Thank you for your service. My father and step father both fought there too! They both made it back. God bless your soul. Anita
