Thank You!
Dear Soldier,
Hello, my name is Nick Lyons. I am a Junior at Gridley High School in Illinois. My U.S. History Class is doing a project to leave remembrances for soldiers who do not have any. It is a shame and a travesty that more Americans do not take a few minutes out of their day to leave their thanks and gratitude to great Americans like you who gave their lives so they could be free. Thank you so much for making the ultimate sacrifice so millions of Americans could continue to live in a free society. You are truly a great American! To the family and friends of this soldier I give my deepest apologies, and may God Bless.

Thank You
I thank you for your service to our country. For this service, you have my respect. You fought for your country, and your efforts have not been forgotten. I am one of many from my high school (Gridley High School in Gridley, IL) who are carrying out the project of posting remembrances to you and those like you so that your effort will be remembered. I would like you to know that not just your efforts, but you, are remembered to this day. You gave so much to your country, and for your great sacrifice, I thank you.

Take The Challenge
I am a senior at Gridley High School in Gridley, Illinois and I recently received the challenge to recognize and remember 100 of the Vietnam War Veterans. One of my teachers is a Vietnam Veteran and feels that these people who gave their lives should have some type of a remembrance. I feel that this challenge is one that will make an impact to at least one person. So now, I challenge you, who are reading this to remember these amazing people who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
