A GENUINE HERO
My memory of Dwight was that even though I was still in elementary school, the Carroll boys caught our attention as good-looking “hunks”—beyond that, I recall conversations about Dwight’s desire to serve in our military...and he not only attained that goal, he surpassed it by a huge margin....my heart was broken as word of his passing reached us...as a small close-knit town, our lives were never the same....the ultimate sacrifice that our hero, Dwight made remains embedded in our hearts and lives to this day....to his family may I express to you how truly grateful I am for the sacrifices both he and you all made...love y’all dearly

Thanks
Dear PFC Dwight Carroll,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. My husband was born on your birthday, which is also the day my mom passe. Say hi to them in heaven, they are Michael and Rose. It is Columbus Day weekend, and we remember those of you who served. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
