Remembering An American Hero
Dear PFC Richard Carrillo, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

Always Remember my friend
Richard, not a day goes by that I pray for your soul, I know you are in a better place, I remember all the services we attended as alter boys at Our Lady Of Soledad and being in the Boys Scouts, I last saw you in Vietnam, I wish I could have traded places.

Friends in Cantwell High School
Were were good friends in Cantwell High School - '62-'66. Did loose track of you while I was attending ELA Jr. College but times were tense in those days. Air Force for me starting Feb '69. Thank you so much for your service; rest in eternal peace buddy - see you again on the other side.
