Sad Day for Troop K - 11th U.S. Cavalry - Vietnam

We gave our respects and had to move on to the next mission. God Bless my brothers......true American Heroes

Daughter Jerry Carr
It was the highlight of my senior class trip in 1987 to see Jerry Carr go to find her dad’s name on the Vietnam wall and get a rubbing of it in charcoal and bring it back for her. So special! He gave his life before he ever got to have a life with his daughter. It seems like the ultimate sacrifice times two. What an amazing family!
