Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 73rd birthday is on October 13th, which is soon. Happy Birthday. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Today is Memorial Day 2016, and I am remembering going to Plum Cuty's Prom with you, double dating, although I went to Durand High. My friend Diane Wieland went with your friend, who also died in Vietnam. It was a crazy, fun evening. We had no idea of your tragedy. May you rest in peace. Jackie Brotzman Christmer
