INSPIRATIONAL
I have just read your letter in "Dear America, Letters from Vietnam". Let us all never forget your bravery, your courage and the many wounded men who are alive today due to your dedication to duty and your skills. Far too many young men both faced death and were killed in a war you should never have been sent to. I am an Australian who was too young to fight in Vietnam but no too young to have read your letter and cried and hurt. Like so many Australian and American military personnel who gave their lives for their country, I often ask and reflect on what they might have achieved had they lived and returned home. God Bless you Corporal Carlson. May Jesus continue to look after you.
