Brother, I was only 13 years old when you died, we where outside the house with my other brother when we saw two navy officers walking down 5th avenue and they got my attention, I turn around and said a quick prayer that went like this....
Oh Lord please don't let them turn into our property dear Lord...… I somehow knew that if they do a left turn that meant bad news...
The officers knock on the front door waked in the house minute later loud cries overpower that quiet evening...
My brother Ruben was the interpreter since none of us spoke English.
The home was never the same, my parent used to hear music a lot.... All that stop.
The only joy of all of this was found with his daughter Carla that was born December of 1968.
My brother Carlos is not forgotten I always remember him...
