do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Memory sparked
Throughout this crazy COVID season my husband and I have been watching China Beach. The show sparked many conversations about the Vietnam war and what we remembered about it when we we were kids. The memory of Major Caras and the POW- MiA bracelet I wore came out of no where and I even remembered the date of his disappearance. God bless his memory and his family.

Thank you.
I applied for a POW/MIA bracelet when I was 15 in 1970. I wore and kept it every day. When I learned they had found you and were returned home after all the years, I was so grateful. You were never forgotten.
