Honoring a Hero ????

I received my bracelet today. It will be such an honor to wear this in memory of a true hero. T/Sgt. Clyde D. Alloway's plane went down on the night I was born.
He gave unselfishly, thinking of his crew members lives first.
I will wear this bracelet in his memory.

WE'LL NEVER FORGET

Roy Spencer
Vietnam Veteran-Air Force Pilot
AC 119 Gunship
He deployed with the 18th SOS as an AC-119 flight engineer to Phan Rang AB, South Vietnam, from January 1970 until he was killed after bailing out of his aircraft on June 6, 1970. His remains were never recovered. His 2nd Distinguished Flying Cross w/Valor Citation reads: Technical Sergeant Clyde D. Alloway distinguished himself by heroism while participating in aerial flight as an AC-119K Illuminator Operator near Da Nang Air Field, Republic of Vietnam, on 6 June 1970. On that date, Sergeant Alloway was a crew member on an aircraft that experienced an inflight emergency which necessitated that the crew bail out. Despite the hazardous conditions, Sergeant Alloway successfully carried out his duties as jump master which resulted in all the crew members safely evacuating the stricken aircraft. The outstanding heroism and selfless devotion to duty displayed by Sergeant Alloway in the dedication of his service to his country reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.

My Dad

This is my dad. I have fond memories of my dad with our family at Storyland and vacationing in the White Mountains NH. I remember he used to smash up his fried eggs and put it on toast. So I taught my kids to eat fried eggs this way and told them about the grandpa they never knew. Our sweet dad and grandpa who served his country bravely!!
