My Brother Cookie, I visit you often in El Camp and will again This Memorial Weekend. I always think of you on our birthdays, Memorial Day and on November 2nd. You are always with me as “My Guardian Angel!” I love you!

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.

I wish I had the privilege of meeting you Tio. I've heard stories about you and would love to hear more. I met your friends and they had nothing but good things to say about you. I'll have to sit with my grandpa and ask him about you. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for your sacrifice and great service to our country. May you Rest In Peace Tio Cuco...

Today is the first day of autumn, and time has passed since this war. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call.
