I wonder

Dear Clyde Lee Roy Canada
I was wondering what it must have been like to spend the most precious part of your life in a country that most people couldn’t even locate on a map in a war that most people didn’t agree with. I wonder if you even agreed with why you should be there and whether or not you would protest the war when you got home. I wonder if you died for something you believe in or whether you died for something your country made you do. Either way you wont be forgotten.

NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER

It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die

Clyde Lee Roy Canada

Hi Clydie, when we lost you I was 8. I miss you more today than ever. You were the brother I never had. And only today I learn more about you than I ever have. I love you so much. I miss you giving me rides on your motercycle, and holding me in your lap. I knew you would always be there for me. But you served your Country, and died, for that all of us thank you. I have visited you at the Wall in DC. And I visit you here today, to tell you I will love you until the day I died. Love your cous Brenda
