Bullard's finest athlete
I'll never forget in 1967 looking up on the the gym wall at Bullard High School in Fresno , Ca. . There was a list of athletic accomplishments preformed by some of the schools finest athletes. There were several listed, jumping , running, throwing just to name a few. Many as I recall, if not all, was followed by the name Bill Camp, to my knowledge many of Bill's records still stand to this day. Bill was a couple of years older than me but was a great inspiration to many of us. I'll never forget hearing of his death in Vietnam along with another fine Bullard student in 1968, Bill Yohn! Both with great sorrow. May they rest in ever lasting peace...
